Analysis of Survey Results

After collecting the results from my post-apocalyptic survey I have made a conclusion for the questions that I have asked and these results will be taken on board and used to design a storyboard for the film.

Q1: What do you look for in a post-apocalyptic short film?

After analyzing the results for this question it seems that people want to see a lot of tense action and a lot of disaster too.

Q2: When you're watching a short film what factors really immerse you into it?

People for this question again said tension and also the plot line and how the characters are portrayed throughout the film.

Q3: What are the most important things in a post-apocalyptic short film?

1st Important: The majority of people have said that the most important thing is the story line

2nd Important: The majority of people have said that the relationship between the characters is the 2nd most important thing.

3rd Important: The majority of people have said that seeing how the characters are surviving is the 3rd most important thing.

Q4: How many characters do you expect to see in a post-apocalyptic film and also what role do you think these characters should play?

The answers vary between 2-3 characters so when I come to actually develop my points I will then sort out how many characters which will most likely be between 2-3.

Q5: What age do you expect the characters to be in a post-apocalyptic film?

The answers given for this question seem to suggest that the audience would like to see the actors ages vary from 17 to the 20's.

Q6: What kind of setting do you expect a post-apocalyptic film to be in?

People's answers seem to suggest that they want an abandoned, derelict place to be the setting for the film.

Q7: Do you expect the short film to be filmed in a place with bright lighting or a place with dim lighting?

The answers from people seem to suggest that a place with dim lighting would be the best thing to do for the short film.

Q8: What kind of music do you expect to hear in a post-apocalyptic film?

Peoples answers suggest that they would like to hear suspenseful/tense music used in the short film.

Q9: What kind of props do you expect to be used in a post-apocalyptic film?

Peoples responses suggest that they would like to see props such as blunt objects that can be seen as weapons/

Q10: Would you prefer the short film to be of a fast pace or a slow pace?

Peoples responses suggest that the film should have a mixture of slow and fast pace action to create tension and suspense.
